Development of a simple algorithm for pre-fragment formation in proton-nucleus spallation reactions

A Monte-Carlo algorithm is developed and coded in FORTRAN to calculate the energy, mass charge distribution of pre-fragments produced proton induced spallation. The based on Glauber’s theory together with a reasonable assumption type promptly emitted nucleons. For evaporation stage, correlated values pre-fragment mass, excitation energy were fed into properly modified version code MCEF (Monte-Carlo Evaporation-Fission) written Java. good agreement obtained experimental distributions residues observed 56Fe+p spallation reactions at 300, 500 750 MeV/A
